My passion for classical music and my admiration for Mitsuko’s playing resulted in our collaboration, which began in early 2016. For my part, I am dedicated to planning her tours, both in The Netherlands and abroad, thereby allowing Mitsuko to fully concentrate on her recitals.
An important aspect of our collaboration is our mutual conviction that music is a language that knows no borders and which sets free universal emotions in people. This inspires us to reach out to a broad audience with whom to share Mitsuko’s music. Working with Mitsuko is a unique opportunity, and I look forward to taking on new challenges with her!
In the coming years I will apply my multidisciplinary background and experience to this project. I gained long-term leadership experience as manager of a large, multinational company (Sonepar), as a board member of the Rabo Bank of Amstel and Vecht, and as Chair of the Board of Vita Welzijn (Amstelveen). For years I played the cello and was a board member of the Amstelveen Music and Dance School. I continue to act as Chair of the Uriël Ensemble Foundation.
